Author Phil Rosette ...
THE FREYA PROJECTis Phil Rosette’s first novel to be published. (Countinghouse Press, 2004) His latest novel is SEOUL LEGACY, THE ORPHAN’S FLU. Both are now out in digital reader format on Kindle. He has also written several short stories since he began writing fiction almost two decades ago. His short story, THE ARCHITECT, was published in The Berkshire Review.
Rosette’s creative writing stems from his own life experiences starting in 1967 when he hitchhiked across America. He has worked blue collar, white collar and no collar jobs ever since. From a busboy in England and a short-order cook in the Berkshires, to an international importer of rare and exotic cars, all before the age of twenty-five, Rosette has been an entrepreneur all his life. A lifelong passion for motorsports, he’s raced open-wheel cars in England and America where he finished runner-up in the 1980 SCCA National Championships. He also spent a tour in Vietnam with the 128th AHC, the “Gunslingers,” as a helicopter door gunner where he scratched another itch; flying.
His writing style is daring and his voice unique as he throws ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances.
Rosette has also written several articles on internet marketing as well as thousands of online ads through Group 41 Online Marketing, a Michigan-based online advertising company he started in 1998.
He has given internet marketing presentations for Automation Alley and the Troy Chamber of Commerce. Rosette resides in the metro Detroit area with his wife Maureen and two sons.
In 2005, Phil opened BirchwoodBooks, a strictly online antiquarian book store in Troy, Michigan.
